Authentix Wins Excellence in Design Award

Authentix has been awarded a Gold level Excellence in Design Award by Appliance Design Magazine for the TCX1000 Through Cap reader. The TCX1000 was designed by Authentix completely in-house, from the internal optics to the external case. The TCX1000 is the first instrument of its kind--used to authenticate pharmaceutical products via nondestructive, through-the-cap testing. The TCX1000 uses a specialized laser to penetrate the cap of a medicine bottle and detect authenticating markers embedded in protective foil closures. Appliance Design magazine praises the TCX1000’s simplicity and individually recognizes the Authentix team who developed the device.

This award is the third Excellence in Design award received by Authentix since 2004.
