Jim Rittenburg, VP of Pharmaceuticals, was recently featured in an article on pharmaceutical industry safeguards in Small Times Magazine. The article entitled, “Scanning for Solutions Beyond the Bar Code,” focuses on the problem of pharmaceutical counterfeiting and the solutions drug makers are exploring to protect their products.

Rittenburg is quoted on the use of taggants in pharmaceutical products and the importance of securing the pharmaceutical supply chain from the factory to customer. The article is accompanied by a photo of an Authentix pharmaceutical authentication field test.
