Authentix CEO Receives Entrepreneur of the Year Award
Authentix Leader Recognized as Tops in the Technology and Communications Category

DALLAS, TX ­ David Moxam has been named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the Technology & Communications category for the Southwest Area. The award was handed out on Saturday, June 17, 2006, at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas. Although Moxam was unable to attend the ceremony, Lal Pearce, Authentix Vice President, Oil & Gas, accepted on his behalf.

The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic and growing businesses. An independent panel of judges considered innovation, financial performance, and the nominee’s personal commitment to their businesses when selecting the winners.

The award has already created a greater awareness of Authentix. Award winners are profiled in the Dallas Business Journal and Dallas Morning News and will be interviewed for the Dallas-based CBS Radio Nightly Business Report.

As a Southwest Area award winner, Moxam is now eligible for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year 2006 national program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the overall national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California on November 18, 2006.

The overall national Entrepreneur of The Year award recipient is then considered for the world event held in Monte Carlo.
