Dale Spall, Ph.D., Chief Science Officer, oversees the company's Los Alamos-based Research and Development Centre for Authentication Solutions and leads the team of world-class Ph.Ds. Dr. Spall joined Authentix in 1996, bringing more than 20 years experience from the world-renowned Los Alamos National Laboratory. He holds multiple patents and developed the molecular marking technology that was subsequently commercialized by Authentix. Dr. Spall has published more than 80 journal articles and is an active industry speaker. |

Tim Wilkinson,

Tim Wilkinson, Ph.D., Director, International Commerce, joined Authentix in 1992, developing and applying immuno-assasy and direct read marketing solutions for petroleum products. Previously he held senior technical and staff positions at Shell over a 15-year period, focusing on industrial environmental protection and business planning. He is also a recognized expert in environmental policy and its impact on industry and has worked with two UK Governments in this area. He has a Ph.D in Biochemical Engineering and Microbiology from the University of London and a B.A. in Biology from the University of York. |

Jim Rittenburg,
Ph. D., Inventor, Molecular
Recognition Marker for
Pharmaceuticals
Jim Rittenburg, Ph.D., VP Pharmaceuticals joined Authentix in 1994 and has played a major role in the application of the company’s marker systems in the pharmaceutical and spirits industries. He received his PhD in microbiology from the University of Maine in 1981 and has over 20 years experience developing immunodiagnostic systems for developing trace chemicals in pharmaceuticals, foods, beverages, petrochemicals, and agricultural products. He has edited two books, authored numerous journal articles and invented a number of patents in this field. Prior to joining Authentix, Dr. Rittenburg was Director of Product Development for Quantix Systems. |

Ian Eastwood,
VP Global Operations & Technology
Ian Eastwood, Ph.D, Chief Technology Officer, joined Authentix in 2001 and now directs the intellectual capital and intellectual property origination functions within the company. Previously he has held senior positions at ICI, Zeneca and Avecia where he managed diverse technical groups and has brought numerous products out of R&D into commercial sales. He has a PhD in Microbiology and Genetics from University of Kent, UK and a BSc in Biochemistry and Microbiology from Sheffield University, UK.
