David Moxam, President & CEO
Authentix' nanoscale engineering is the best defense against industrial counterfeiting. David Moxam, President & CEO Authentix, leads a team of PhDs, engineers and industry experts that work with Fortune 500 companies and governments around the world combating the issue. The firm's pioneering work has been the subject of numerous broadcast and print stories and in 2006, Mr. Moxam was recognized as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in Technology. Personally committed to using advanced technologies for the betterment of society, a mission statement principle of Authentix, Moxam serves on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce board of directors where he co-chairs its Coalition Against Counterfeiting and Piracy technology program. He also serves on the Board of the Texas Nanotechnology Initiative, was one of the founders of the NanoTX conference, and serves on the board of Compassites Software Solutions in Bangalore, India. Prior to joining Authentix, Mr. Moxam spent 15 years running global operations for companies such as EDS, Telecom Canada and Starpoint Solutions.

Mr. Moxam holds graduate degrees in business administration and physics from Laurentian University in Ontario, Canada.



Craig Stamm, CFO & VP Corporate Development
Craig Stamm, CFO & VP Corporate Development, joined Authentix in 2002 and was instrumental in the development and execution of the company's acquisition growth strategy. He has led the capitalization efforts of the company including three rounds of private equity financing. Prior to joining the company, he served as CFO of Headhunter.net, a publicly-traded internet recruiting company. Stamm led Headhunter through several strategic acquisitions and ultimately, the company's sale to CareerBuilder, where he was named CFO post-acquisition. His experience also includes serving as Director of the Leveraged Finance Group of SG Cowen Securities Corp. and a Senior Associate at Citigroup. He was a founding member of the Atlanta Technology Angels, a technology incubator and joint venture between Georgia Tech and the city of Atlanta. He holds an MBA from Columbia University.



Duncan Ritchie, Managing Director, Europe & VP, Global Marketing & Strategy
Duncan Ritchie, Managing Director, Europe & VP Global Marketing & Strategy, joined Authentix in 2001 as a strategy consultant. Previously he managed a cardiovascular division of Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceuticals and was Global Sales & Marketing Director for Morrison Bowmore Distillers. He has also run his own consulting company for 10 years, working in diverse fields such as airline components, consumer goods, manufacturing and distribution. He has held a number of main Board Interim directorships, and has managed joint venture subsidiaries for clients in India and China. He has a BSc. Hons in Microbiology from Strathclyde University, Glasgow, UK.



Dale Spall, Ph.D., Chief Science Officer
Dale Spall, Ph.D., Chief Science Officer, oversees the company's Los Alamos-based Research and Development Centre for Authentication Solutions and leads the team of world-class Ph.Ds. Dr. Spall joined Authentix in 1996, bringing more than 20 years experience from the world-renowned Los Alamos National Laboratory. He holds multiple patents and developed the molecular marking technology that was subsequently commercialized by Authentix. Dr. Spall has published more than 80 journal articles and is an active industry speaker.



Tim Wilkinson, Ph. D., Director, International Commerce
Tim Wilkinson, Ph.D., Director, International Commerce, joined Authentix in 1992, developing and applying immuno-assasy and direct read marketing solutions for petroleum products. Previously he held senior technical and staff positions at Shell over a 15-year period, focusing on industrial environmental protection and business planning. He is also a recognized expert in environmental policy and its impact on industry and has worked with two UK Governments in this area. He has a Ph.D in Biochemical Engineering and Microbiology from the University of London and a B.A. in Biology from the University of York.



Olaf L. Halvorssen, President, International
Olaf L. Halvorssen, President, International, and Member of the Board of Directors, is one of the founders of Authentix. Mr. Halvorssen helped acquire and develop commercial applications for a key technology in the Authentix intellectual property portfolio. Originally developed at the U.S. National Laboratories in Los Alamos, New Mexico, this nanoscale marking technology is being used today by leading oil and gas companies and national governments around the world to prevent revenue loss due to fuel fraud.

Mr. Halvorssen is the former president of Venezuela without Limits, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children in Latin America. Mr. Halvorssen’s commitment to various philanthropies and to the cause of the betterment of society through business practices earned him the title, Knight Commander to the Royal Norwegian Court. This honor was awarded to him by His Majesty, King Harald V of Norway at Oslo in December 2006. Mr. Halvorssen also serves as a director for Sole Trading, Ltd.

Mr. Halvorssen holds a BA degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA degree from the Wharton Graduate School of Finance.



Jim Rittenburg, Ph. D., VP Healthcare and Life Sciences
Jim Rittenburg Jim Rittenburg, Ph.D., VP Healthcare and Life Sciences, joined Authentix in 1994 and has played a major role in the application of the company’s marker systems in the pharmaceutical and spirits industries. He received his PhD in microbiology from the University of Maine in 1981 and has over 20 years experience developing immunodiagnostic systems for developing trace chemicals in pharmaceuticals, foods, beverages, petrochemicals, and agricultural products. He has edited two books, authored numerous journal articles and invented a number of patents in this field. Prior to joining Authentix, Dr. Rittenburg was Director of Product Development for Quantix Systems.



Ian Eastwood, VP Global Operations & Technology
Ian Eastwood, Ph.D, Chief Technology Officer, joined Authentix in 2001 and now directs the intellectual capital and intellectual property origination functions within the company. Previously he has held senior positions at ICI, Zeneca and Avecia where he managed diverse technical groups and has brought numerous products out of R&D into commercial sales. He has a PhD in Microbiology and Genetics from University of Kent, UK and a BSc in Biochemistry and Microbiology from Sheffield University, UK.



Lal Pearce, VP, Oil & Gas
Lal Pearce, VP Oil & Gas, joined Authentix in 2000 and now directs the Oil and Gas business unit of Authentix. In his previous career, he worked with Conoco, Discovery Chemicals, Alcoa and Vista Chemicals. He has extensive experience with the oil and gas market and holds degrees in Chemistry and Business from Texas Tech.



Tim Driscoll, Ph.D., VP of Global Operations
Dr. Tim Driscoll, VP of Global Operations, brings over a decade of brand protection and anti-counterfeiting experience to Authentix. As VP of Global Operations, Dr. Driscoll oversees the design, development and implementation of security solutions for clients. Prior to joining the company, he was the VP of Materials Engineering for Spectra Systems Corporation, a company that provides anti-counterfeiting security systems based on advanced materials. During his tenure there, Dr. Driscoll developed high level covert and public security features for major world currencies and passports. Dr. Driscoll has published more than 15 journal articles and holds several patents. He holds a Ph.D. and a M.S. in Physics from Brown University and a B.Sc. in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.



Majid Fazeli, VP Brand Capital
Majid Fazeli, VP Brand Capital, joined Authentix in 2002 as the Director of Product Technology and has been instrumental in managing the development and deployment of many of the platform solutions in commercial use by Authentix clients today. He has been the architect of the Authentix pedigree services for mass serialization and item level tracking of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and excise tax recovery programs for tobacco and spirits products. He has over 20 years of experience developing and commercializing technology-based solutions in Process Control, Semiconductor Manufacturing, and Brand Protection markets. Prior to joining Authentix, he was Global Director of Research & Development at Mykrolis, the semiconductor division of Millipore Corporation. He holds several patents and an advanced degree in Nuclear Engineering from Iowa State University.



Robin Jenkins, Director, Consumer Goods
Robin Jenkins, Director, Consumer Goods, joined Authentix in 1993 and has played a significant role in the company's growth in the agrochemical, alcoholic beverages and consumer goods markets. Prior to joining the company he held senior positions in the Agrochemical and Plant Biotechnology industries over a 20 year period. He also provided extensive consulting services in the textile and electrical goods industries.
